Eleanor and Park was an ordinarily extraordinary love story written exquisitely. I didn’t feel like I was reading while reading this book, I felt like I was living it. That’s a writing style only a few people can accomplish; and that was accomplished by Rainbow Rowell, especially in this book.
The characters were all down to earth and simply adorable. Rainbow Rowell can make plain characters turn out to be so unique! I couldn’t make myself stop from reading the book immediately after waking up, that’s how good this book is. I would give it a 5/5 Stars.
Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert!
What do you think were the last three words sent by Eleanor to Park?
I think it was ‘I Love You’ as it was said in the book that she never exactly confessed her love the old fashioned way.
But I’d love to know your point of view too. Did you like this book?
Synopsis: Eleanor and Park are two sixteen-year-olds forced to sit together on a school bus in 1980s Omaha, Nebraska. The two could not be more different. Eleanor, the new girl in town, is heavier than average and struggles with a bad home life.
