Yet again I got immensely impressed by a book that I had never expected to be impressed by. The book ‘Little Fires Everywhere’ started a little slowly for me, but then as I kept reading; I was so hooked with its story that I just couldn’t make myself stop from reading this peculiar domestic fiction novel.

The storyline was so interesting! I spoke about this book with everyone I met while I was reading it. I had summarized this story to my family as well and we had very long elaborated conversations about who’s right and who’s wrong in this enigmatic story as if it was the hit news of this season.
Yes, the book itself was kind of long and the chapters were probably a bit too far away from each other. But that’s one of the things that I loved about this book. Every chapter gave me all the interesting and uncanny informations that I was craving to know more about.
A 4 out of 5 stars for this captivatingly uncanny novel.
My favorite quote: “All up and down the street the houses looked like any others—but inside them were people who might be happy, or taking refuge, or steeling themselves to go out into the world, searching for something better. So many lives she would never know about, unfolding behind those doors.”
