The Book Thief is a story about a German girl from the time of World War 2 that was narrated by the DEATH himself... by this tiny synopsis you must have already figured out how incredible this book will turn out to be. And honestly, it actually did.

This book had so many good characters, the writing style was SO INCREDIBLE, the story was so heartbreaking, and the descriptions about everything were so beautiful.
I am, for the first time ever, speechless. Can I blabber about the writing style of Markus Zusak a little bit more? Because the word ‘incredible’ doesn’t feel like enough.
The book was written in such a comical yet serious manner, a very unique combination that’s hard to find in books these days. I always thought this book was over-hyped, until I read the first paragraph, and I was instantly hooked! And the most important part… I cried, a lot.
Don’t share the latter fact to anyone, though, or I’ll give you the most unforgiving pinch under your pretty little arm so hard that you’ll regret ever KNOWING ME.
Threats aside, READ this book if you haven’t already! You’ll surely love it.
