Compiled Book Reviews for: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses

Books are one of those things which makes me dream, imagine, wish and desire better than anything else ever does. ACOTAR made me feel all those feelings after going through a long reading slump. The energetic character of Feyre told me in every way to face my fears with confidence. Tamlin's bravery, kindness and the way he loved Feyre so deeply got him a special space in my heart. I really wish I had a funny friend like Lucien with whom I could talk to without worrying if they got upset or not. Every character in this book was interesting in their own way. somewhere deep inside my mind I wanted the ending to be just the way it had been written. I heard that the sequel of this book (A Court of Mist and Fury) is even better! I would give this book a 5/5 and an extra point for describing their world and their experiences so beautifully.

A Court of Mist and Fury

A Court of Mist and Fury left me heartbroken, yet I loved it completely. I got attached to all the characters in a way I didn’t get in any book for a very long time.

I love Rhysand’s character so much! I wonder if there’s someone in this world as intelligent, stunning, understanding and as brave as him. (I might need a dictionary to find more suitable words for him!) I love Feyre’s character too, I loved the courage and cleverness she always displayed while fighting. Sarah J. Maas wrote this book so magnificently, I felt and understood every single emotion she wanted to convey to her readers. Even her Acknowledgments were written wonderfully. I can’t wait for the third book: A Court of Wings and Ruins.

A Court of Wings and Ruin

Re-reading ACOWAR made me fall in all with this book even more than I did before. It had the perfect closure and I found out new infos that I hadn’t noticed before. I love acowar the most! 5 stars for this beauty!

ACOWAR REVIEW *SPOILERS*

I love Sarah J Maas’ writing style and I loved A Court of Wings and Ruin. But I did not love it more than A Court of Mist and Fury. It could not reach my expectations. But I am quite happy with the conclusive ending and moreover happy about the fact that everything turned out well for everyone. I loved the twists and turns in this book and I loved all the little secrets and surprises which were shared in every chapter. Though there were some scenes which were written too intricately, I didn’t want to know about everything! I’m super glad SJM didn’t kill Rhys or else I would have asked for a full refund! I would give this book a 4.5 out of 5.

A Court of Frost and Starlight

A Court of Frost and Starlight was a lovely book, inside and out. Just like every other book of Sarah J Maas. It was funny, dreamy at times, and the description of places as usual, was fantastic.

I did like it, but it wasn’t my most favorite book from the series. Yes, it had given me the perfect conclusion I had been hoping for, and yes, it had an interesting cliffhanger, but I just couldn’t find that excitement in it like I had found in her previous books from this series. I would give this book a 2 out of 5 stars. Favorite quote: “And in the end, though, we'd saved each other. All of us had.”

A Court of Silver Flames

2/5 Stars
