Samama Reza is a Bangladeshi author raised in Dubai, where she still lives with her father, brothers, and fifteen mischievous cats.

 

A bookworm and film lover, her obsession with storytelling began early, listening to bedtime folktales read by her mother and later finding comfort in books and movies.

As a middle grader, she wrote short stories as birthday gifts for her siblings. Her passion for writing deepened as she began publishing articles in local news outlets and connecting with the literary world through book blogging and author interviews.

 

That experience gave her the confidence to write her debut novel, Anti-Romantic, and over time, being an author felt less like a dream and more like her destiny.
